I have been having lessons with Martin for the last four years, with my weekly lessons & practice, Martin’s tuition & patience after two years of lessons I became a member of Boyce Hill Golf Club where I obtained the highest mens handicap of 28,  after a further two years of being a member at Boyce Hill my handicap has now reduced to 18, as a result of this I have recommended Martin to many of my friends.

Martin has been teaching me for the last 5 years, I started as a complete beginner and in this time he has introduced me to a local golf club where I obtained an initial handicap of 36, in 3 years I have reduced my handicap to 18, I have won numerous cup competitions within the club and have also represented the club at team level.

Martin works on an ethos of keeping it simple and an uncomplicated method, whilst being very professional and approachable he makes the lessons fun and enjoyable.

I was new to the game back in 2006 and was lucky to find someone like Martin, who is both patient and considerate, which is what I needed at the time.   He is not just good at running through the mechanics of the golf swing with me, but also appreciates how my body works and is happy to work with me on it.

Martin is very straight forward with me and will talk me through the things that I need to work on or improve upon, but is patient enough to understand how I take things in and works with me to get the improvements that I’ve experienced.

I can’t imagine a time when I will look to another coach for guidance, as Martin is someone that I’ve grown to trust and believe in, which is very important to me and has helped my development enormously.
