Martin has been teaching me for the last 5 years, I started as a complete beginner and in this time he has introduced me to a local golf club where I obtained an initial handicap of 36, in 3 years I have reduced my handicap to 18, I have won numerous cup competitions within the club and have also represented the club at team level.

Martin works on an ethos of keeping it simple and an uncomplicated method, whilst being very professional and approachable he makes the lessons fun and enjoyable.

Martin was recommended to me & I would recommend him to anyone who is either just starting the game or who wants to improve.

Martin Foreman has overseen my playing abilities since I took up the game of golf.
He provides me, not only tuition on my golf swing, he also advises on course
management, rules and etiquette.

His style of teaching comes from individual needs rather than straight from a manual,
i.e. what may work for one, may not work for everybody.

It is very much a case of working with the “Player” and Martin achieves this through
patience and perseverance and the ability to see the faults in the individual.

I always come away from a lesson satisfied that (provided I practice what he teaches)
that it has been a worthwhile experience. Although I no longer live in the Southend
area, I still come back for my invaluable tuition.

We have tried group lessons but prefer to learn with Martin as there is no hanging around waiting for others.
He makes learning more enjoyable as he sets us challenges each week to focus on.
In summer we even learnt how to get out bunkers and all the rules around it.

With your help,  my swing, ball contact and general feeling for the game are in a different league compared to this time last year. Even my poorer shots now would have delighted me a year ago. Who knows how much my game will improved by next year?
